Advent markets in the region: a festival for young and old
The anticipation for Christmas is growing in the Bruck district, which comes up with a variety of advent markets and events. From Eberschassing to Schwechat, the markets present themselves in many facets, invite visitors to discover handmade works of art and spend cozy hours with punch and gingerbread.
The Advent art market in the Volksheim takes place in Eberskassing from November 8th to 10th. Here, guests can purchase various creative products from Friday to Sunday. The following weekend offers the Advent market at PD’s Café in Hainburg on November 15 and 16, which will open from 4 p.m.

A very special atmosphere awaits visitors at the Advent market in the town house of Bruck, which will be led on November 16 and 17. On these days everyone is cordially invited to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere with music and festive pastries.
For the seniors, there is also the Advent punch in the Eberschassinger parking lot of the middle school on November 16, which will provide social get -together from 4 p.m. An Advent market event will also take place in the Schwechat senior center on November 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The parish of Mannswörth is hosted by November 22nd to 24th November. Families can also look at the Life Aid Workshop in Bruck on November 22nd, where the doors will be opened from 3 p.m.
For animal lovers, a market in the Brucker animal shelter becomes a highlight between 23 and 24 November, where both animal and culinary treasures can be found. Furthermore, the Advent market will take place on November 23 from 1 p.m. in the Wittmann House in Bruck. The cultural offer is supplemented by an advent exhibition at the Wallhofturm on November 23 and 24.
On November 30th, visitors can look forward to a very special experience in the Wäste Mannersdorf nature park at the desert punch, while in Schwadorf and Margarethen at the Moos Advent villages with traditions and culinary delights invite you to linger.
Another highlight is the Brucker Advent, which invites you to a large meeting on the main square and in the town hall courtyard from 5 to December 8th. The events culminate in a medieval Advent market in Hainburg from December 13th to 15th, where medieval customs and Christmas traditions are revived in a special ambience.
