Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner emphasized the importance of cultural local supply in Lower Austria during the summer. During the extensive cultural summer, those interested in culture get their money's worth in all regions of the country. The offers range from plays to concerts to open-air cinemas and exhibitions. This year the period of the cultural summer is particularly rich in musical events: from chamber music to large open-air festivals, a wide range is offered.

The Grafenegg Festival, which takes place from August 14th to September 7th and combines international classical stars and large orchestral concerts, in a unique backdrop from August 14 to September 7. In addition, the festival presents classic symphonies and contemporary music, supported by innovative formats and outstanding artists. The Stadtlandzeitung reports that Wieler of the concert sites in Grafenegg, such as the historical castle and the modern cloud tower, provide an outstanding acoustic experience.

As part of the cultural summer, many different events take place. The Allegro Vivo Festival runs until September 14th and comprises over 65 concerts in the Waldviertel, many of them with premieres. In the Haydn region of Lower Austria, the eighth season is heralded with the “Limitless classic” program, which has already inspired many fans of classical music.

Likewise, numerous wineries invite you to musical experiences until September 5th as part of "Culture among winegrowers & winemakers". Theater lovers can look forward to the Theaterfest Lower Austria by September 7, which offers the operetta, musical and acting. The summer games in Melk show the music revue "Dream on" until August 16.

In addition, the Tonkünstler orchestra goes to a concert tour to Japan to represent Grafenegg International, which underlines the global importance of the festival.
