On Sunday Marco Schwarz returns to the Val d’Isere slalom after an almost year-long break from racing. The Carinthian is really looking forward to his comeback and tells the “Krone” that he has to think less and can immerse himself more in the adventure of skiing. He is celebrating his return not only out of personal conviction, but also with the aim of gradually fighting his way back into the competition. Schwarz plans to compete in both the giant slalom and slalom in Alta Badia, but remains realistic about his expectations as injury still presents ongoing challenges. “I have to give myself the breaks this season,” continued Schwarz, hoping to find the right balance between training and competition.
