conversation about further recalls

In addition to the drinking glasses, Tedi also pointed out another recall. SPAR has recalled products due to possible increased germ load in mineral water, which directs attention to the topics of product safety and possible health risks.

The Ministry of Social Affairs emphasizes that companies are obliged to take necessary measures if products are considered dangerous. This includes callbacks, sales bans and the transfer of information to the relevant authorities. The recall process is part of the strict provisions of the Product Safety Act 2004, which applies in particular to non-food consumer products. The European Commission operates the "Safety Gate" database, which provides information about recalls, while the Employment Agency publishes important recruitment that is reported to the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Consumers are urgently asked to be aware of their products in the event of uncertainties and to take special care of recall information. An app of the Ages offers an easy way to find out about current recalls.
