Cultural summer 2025: Free art for all Viennese districts!

Rathausplatz, 1010 Wien, Österreich - On June 17, 2025, the Viennese cultural events are in the starting blocks. The cultural summer of Vienna 2025 will take place from June 26th to August 10th and promises a comprehensive program for those interested in culture. Around 2000 artists: Inside from different genres will take part in more than 500 acts that include cabaret, literature, music, performance, dance, theater and contemporary circus. The opening of the cultural summer takes place on June 26th and 27th with a concert on the Kaiserwiese in the Prater, where visitors can enjoy the special sounds inside. A creative adventure for children is also offered on selected days with a special program. For seniors in 29 home stations there will be garden concerts for which registration is required.

As part of the festival, the “Kultursommer Plus” also takes place, where participants: inside workshops and open art stations can visit. Sponsors such as PORR AG support this ambitious project, which is supposed to promote neighborly exchange.

The Prater as a cultural center

In the middle of this cultural diversity, the Wiener Ferris wheel , which is considered a landmark of Vienna and has attracted numerous visitors in recent years: inside.
