Fight for the economy: Entrepreneurs call for change in the WKO!

The political tensions in Austria are increasing! The Chamber of Commerce (WKO) and its representatives puts a recent rethinking of the Freedom Economy in a critical light. According to the continuing challenges and a policy that has been hostile to the economy in recent years, the FPÖ is pushing for fundamental changes. Michael Sommer, business spokesman for FPÖ Niederösterreich, expressed sharp criticism of the current role of the WKO, which he perceives insufficiently for the interests of the entrepreneurs. As ots is perceived as an organization that is more perceived with its internal structures than with actual needs of the companies.

In view of the upcoming economic chamber elections in the spring, the freedom economy calls for entrepreneurs to set a strong sign. Michael Fürtbauer, state chairman of the Freedom Economy in Upper Austria, criticized that the previous measures by the ÖVP and the WKO were disadvantageous for the entrepreneurs. "The changes and new guidelines, such as the so -called 'gold plating' in climate boards, have tightened the economic situation," said Fürtbauer. These problems, along with the increased energy costs and unclear coronaintations, have also undermined confidence in the WKO, which no longer occurs as desired for the interests of their members, such as fpö oö

urgent reform requirement

Dissatisfaction with the WKO has led to a call to reform the chamber structure. Fürtbauer calls for a massive slimming of the WKO to strengthen their relevance for the entrepreneurs. "If our own representation no longer fights for us, we have to consider this step as an entrepreneur," he emphasizes. The upcoming elections are an opportunity for the FPÖ to represent the interests of the entrepreneurs sustainably and to push back the influence of the ÖVP within the WKO. The Freedom Economy wants to create a structured and effective representation that enables cross -commercial majorities to represent the voice of the entrepreneurs loudly and clearly.
