Insight into self-deception: Professor Brüdermann explains decision-making processes

Current findings on the topics of self-deception and decision-making behavior were presented at an event at the University of Graz. Professor Thomas Bruderemann explained to the participants the complex mechanisms behind these topics, supported by humorous illustrations that made it easier to understand.

Bruderemann explained how different factors influence our decision-making behavior and how people often tend to distort reality to justify their decisions. These findings can be important not only in everyday life, but also in various areas of work and life.

Musical background

The event was complemented by musical performances by students Magdalena Liebert, Matteo Zellnig and David Furian. Under the guidance of teacher Anna Ebner, the young musicians created a pleasant atmosphere that enriched the presentation.

This successful mix of science and culture attracted numerous interested parties and provided stimulating food for thought on a topic that is relevant to each of us. The listeners were encouraged to think about their own decision-making processes and to question the influence of subjective perceptions.
