Expansion of the Klagenfurt art collection by significant gift
The city of Klagenfurt recently experienced a significant enrichment of its art collection through a generous gift. The Carinthian artist Otto Kraigher Mlczoch, whose works are now made accessible to the public, comes through this gift from Eberhard Kraigh of 36 new works of art that represent an impressive variety of his work.
The collection not only includes portraits and landscape watercolors, but also religious motifs and figurative studies in oil. The city's art lecturer, City Councilor Franz Petritz, expressed grateful for this exquisite selection: "We are very grateful for this wonderful and representative selection."
public relations in planning
The cultural department manager Mag. Alexander Gerdanovits is already planning an exhibition that is scheduled to take place next year to present the new works of art to the public. This offers the citizens the opportunity to appreciate the creativity and the artistic expression of Mlczoch.
Eberhard Kraigher, who personally monitored the gift, is pleased that his father's works of art have now found a place in the urban art of art, where they will soon be accessible to everyone.
This development is not only a profit for the city of Klagenfurt, but also a valuable way to preserve and present the artistic legacy of the region. Further information on this gift and the planned exhibitions are available at www.klick-kaernten.at .
