in Bad Bleiberg, a small town in the Villach-Land district, the authorities face several arsons before a serious case, which have caused great excitement since September 2023. There have been several fire in the immediate vicinity of a multi -storey house that endangered both the residents and the surrounding area. The property damage incurred is estimated at almost one million euros.

On November 12, 2024, the police reported the arrest of a 23-year-old man who is considered a suspect for the arson. The arrest takes place immediately after the last fire on November 7, which was laid in the basement of the house. Despite these stressful circumstances, the accused denies the allegations and is not confident, as was explained in a message from the criminal officers of the State Criminal Police Office. He has been in the Klagenfurt prison since he was arrested.

• 7. September 2023: at 10:00 p.m. A garbage container was set on fire in the outdoor area of the house.
• 7. September 2023: just an hour later, around 11:55 p.m., a car parked there burned, which almost almost spread to a neighboring punch hut.
• 12. September 2023: Another serious incident occurred when a fire was set in the roof structure of the multi -storey house. This led to the loss of the entire roof and required the evacuation of the house residents.
• 21. August 2024: Again at 3:10 a.m. there was a fire on a garbage container in the outdoor area.
• 24. August 2024: A fire in the basement damaged large parts of the building.
• 29. October 2024: Another fire in the area of the roof structure, which fortunately goes out.
• 7. November 2024: The last fire that was laid in the basement could be brought under control through an alarm.
