The pre -Christmas period in the district promises fairytale markets again this year that attract visitors to all ages. In various cities and municipalities, a variety of events are offered in a festive atmosphere that make waiting for the Christ child a special experience. Advent cheerfulness in the region

On December 6th to 8th, the Hochosterwitz Castle becomes the scene of a lively Advent market. There, visitors can discover regional specialties and artistic craft. Gingerbread, bacon and cheese are on the menu, while young and old can experience the craft skills of forging, carving and beekeeping.
