In the Fuchpalast in St. Veit an der Glan, a very special event was recently held: Around 1000 guests celebrated the MaturaBall of the BG BRG St. Veit. Under the motto "Royal, L) Us - Tonight we are in power", the 28 Maturants took over the scepter for one night. The event radiated glamor and community pride.
The decision to carry out the ball in the Fuchspalast was made by director Hannes Wolf, who praised the great support of the city, especially by Mayor Martin Kulmer. "It is important to organize the MaturaBall in a place that does justice to him," said Wolf.

The event offered the guests numerous attractions. The seven -member ball committee, supported by classmates from the lower classes and active parents, ensured a varied program. In addition to a raffle and an estimation game, you could also experience the choice of the ball queen and the ball king. Ball committee member Xenia Leczek emphasized the important role of teachers and the organization by the parents' association.
The festive opening was initiated with a polonaise, choreographed by the dance professor Selina Maizinger. When the stirring music of the band "Black and White" began, the dance floor filled up quickly. The DJ’s Smurphy and Jalix also contributed to the exuberant mood and provided the right beats during the midnight insert, which was also choreographed by Xenia Leczek.
With the right mix of tradition and modern elements, the MaturaBall was a glamorous festival that gave everyone involved unforgettable memories. The successful cooperation of everyone involved was shown in the positive atmosphere and the lively exchange among the guests.
