Magical autumn festival in Porcia Castle: an experience for the whole family

On October 25th, Porcia Castle in Spittal on the Drau will be the setting for the magical family autumn “The Enchanted Castle” for the third time. From 2 p.m., visitors can expect an atmospheric event that is the perfect start to the autumn holidays. The initiator, municipal councilor Evelyn Köfer, emphasizes that the festival was designed especially for children from the age of four and promises exciting scary moments.

The varied program promises an experience for the whole family. Fascinating magic shows as well as a special children's theater piece, "Baron Münchhausen and the shoe of the Cinderella" are planned, with the talented actors Gregor Kronthaler and Karoline Troger. In addition, the illusionists Magic Zuze and Magic Gerhard are there, who will be amazed with their impressive skills. The Spittal city library presents a picture book cinema entitled "The Little Knights", and a musical hands-on piece by Theresa Sima will inspire the little guests. A mini disco, which is organized by the domestic dance studio House of Movement, also creates a special atmosphere. Through the afternoon, castle guard Martin Schinagl, who maintains visitors with his ghosts.

In the castle courtyard, a free program is offered that is accessible to young and old. However, access to the events in the upper premises is limited to ensure a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Therefore, free tickets are required that can be picked up in the city marketing office in the east entrance of Porcia Castle. These tickets are only available from Monday, October 21st to Wednesday, October 23, daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as long as stocks last.
