The 3rd Carinthian school tournament took place in Feldkirchen on October 19, 2024. 126 participants from 11 different Carinthian clubs competed against each other. The young judoka aged between U10 and U16 were able to prove themselves and show off their skills in exciting fights.
In particular, ASKÖ Semering was represented by 23 young judoka, who were supervised by trainers Steffi L. and Elisabeth S.. Gerald S. took on the role of referee and ensured that the competition ran smoothly. The athletes showed remarkable performances and thus contributed significantly to the success of their club.
Club rankings and successes
ASKÖ Semering's impressive results in the club rankings speak for themselves: the club secured a total of 9 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze medals. This made for a clear first place, followed by Judo Feldkirchen and JC Wolfsberg. It was particularly pleasing that the older U14 age groups were also allowed to compete in the U16, which gave them the opportunity to gain valuable competition experience.
