40 years of Johanniter Carinthia: cheers and blessings in Patergassen
The Johanniter Carinthia can look back on an impressive history of 40 years and recently celebrated their anniversary in Wiedweg/Patergassen. The festivities attracted numerous guests who could look forward to a varied program.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a new ambulance was blessed by Pastor Uweträger. In his speech, he emphasized that the vehicle is not just a technical means, but a symbol of humanity, hope and help in emergencies. Four young employees took over the sponsorship of the new emergency vehicle.
Musical celebrations
The subsequent morning pint event was led by presenter Klaus Tschaitschmann and featured a lively musical performance. Various groups such as the Ebene Reichenau Trachtenkapelle and the Nockvoices provided stimulating entertainment, while active and former members of the Johanniter shared their insights and personal anecdotes. Johannes Bucher, President of Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe Austria, also gave an overview of the association's valuable work.
Entertainment program and attractions
There was also a lot on offer for the guests apart from the musical performances. The Patergassen traditional costume band took care of the physical needs and there were various tombola prizes provided by generous sponsors. The supporting program also included a special visit: the Alpin 1 rescue helicopter was ready to be admired by the guests, which was a highlight of the day.
The event not only offered an opportunity to celebrate the Johanniter's success story, but also to make new acquaintances and exchange experiences and memories with active and former members. The exuberant atmosphere and community spirit were noticeable and made this day a special experience for all participants.
