Petodnevna turneja započela je 21. travnja 2025 Tura po Alpama uspješno s prvom etapom dugom 144 kilometra oko San Lorenzo Dorsina, u blizini Trenta. Cijela ruta vozačima je nudila ne samo slikovite atrakcije, već i zahtjevne izazove. Utrka, koja tradicionalno služi kao priprema za Giro d'Italia, poznata je po intenzivnim brdskim i alpskim etapama.
Felix Gall, vozač Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale tima, pokazao je izvanredne performanse, ali je morao odustati od sprinta Giulio Ciccone poražen od ekipe Lidl Trek. Gall je stigao do drugog mjesta i sada zaostaje četiri sekunde za glavnim junakom Cicconeom. Njegov momčadski kolega Paul Seixas, sa samo 18 godina, osvojio je treće mjesto i svojom izvedbom impresionirao gledatelje.
Poteškoće i trijumfi
Gall had to deal with a flat tire 16 kilometers from the finish during the race, but showed great fighting spirit and did everything he could not to lose contact with the front runners. After the race he expressed his satisfaction with the start: “The finale was special” and said that he was very satisfied with the first day. Pogled u budućnost
Die zweite Etappe der Tour of the Alps führt am Dienstag über 180 Kilometer nach Sterzing. Die Strecke wird auch durch Galls Heimat Osttirol verlaufen, was für den Lokalmatador eine zusätzliche Motivation darstellt. Die Tour of the Alps, die 1962 als Eintagesrennen begann und 2017 ihren heutigen Namen erhielt, bietet ein spannendes Format, das traditionell Ende April stattfindet und als wichtiges Vorbereitungsrennen gilt.
Die nächsten Tage versprechen spannende Wettkämpfe und möglicherweise einige Überraschungen, während die Fahrer weiterhin um die Gesamtwertung kämpfen.
