Carnival in Kühnsdorf: A colorful move inspires thousands!

On Mardi Gras, the citizens of Herzogenburg and Kühnsdorf again experienced a colorful spectacle that revived the good old tradition of carnival. A large carnival parade started at 1:13 p.m. in Herzogenburg, in which 36 groups took part. The participants moved over St. Pöltner Straße to the Rathausplatz and back, where they were received expectantly by an impressive amount. Hundreds of spectators lined the streets and celebrated the impressive performances. A specialist jury under the direction of Mayor Wolfgang Stefitz chose the best groups and rewarded their creative use with small awards.
