Donation check for Cancer Aid Burgenland: Local community collects 1,000 euros!
In Unterfrauenhaid, the Young People's Party (JVP) and Mayor Thomas Niklos recently carried out a moving campaign in favor of Cancer Aid Burgenland. At a Mother's Day champagne breakfast and a Father's Day beer, the organizers managed to collect donations of 1,000 euros. This amount was now symbolically handed over to the managing director of Krebshilfe Burgenland, Andrea Konrath.
The commitment of mayor Thomas Niklos and JVP chairman Thomas Mate as well as the generous support of visitors made it possible to finance the psycho-oncological care offer for cancer patients and their families. Krebshilfe Burgenland does valuable work in supporting and accompanying those affected during their illness.
The symbolic handover of the donation check took place with great thanks to all donors whose contribution made an important contribution to the care of cancer patients. It is encouraging to see how the community of Unterfrauenhaid shows solidarity for the health and well-being of its citizens.
The events showed that joint actions and solidarity can have a positive influence, especially when it comes to supporting people in difficult life situations. The donation handover underlines the social commitment and humanity that is lived in Unterfrauenhaid.
