Helping makes you happy: RTL donation marathon supports children in need
These days the RTL donation marathon 2024 is running under the motto “Helping makes you happy”, and it is really a matter of the heart! The longest charity program in Germany, which is now in its 29th edition, has fired its starting signal since Thursday evening at 6 p.m. What is particularly exciting is that the event will be broadcast live around the clock. Wolfram Kons leads the event as a moderator and motivates everyone with his inviting call: "Helping makes you happy! Become a happy helper too!"
The main goal of this great commitment is the sustainable support of disadvantaged and seriously ill children, both in Germany and worldwide. But what exactly is collected during the marathon? Thanks to celebrity support and a wide range of projects, viewers can actively contribute to improving the living conditions of these children.
Prominent supporters and their projects
The prominent sponsors include well-known personalities who are passionate about various aid projects. For example, fightsAlexander Zverev, who is himself a diabetic, for better care for children with diabetes (type 1). The goal is to set a new world record for the “longest team distance on the wheelchair course (24 hours, relay)” while at the same time collecting donations for inclusion projects.
