Help makes Happy: RTL donation marathon supports children in need

This day the RTL donation marathon 2024 runs under the motto "Help Happy", and it's really a matter close to the heart! Since Thursday evening at 6 p.m., Germany's longest charity program, which takes place in its 29th edition, has given its starting shot. It is particularly exciting that the event will be broadcast live around the clock. Wolfram Kons leads through the event as a moderator and motivates everyone with his inviting call: "Help makes you happy! You too will be a happy helper!"

The main goal of this great engagement is the sustainable support of disadvantaged and seriously ill children, both in Germany and worldwide. But what exactly is collected during the marathon? Thanks to prominent support and a wide range of projects, viewers can actively contribute to improving the living conditions of these children.

prominent supporters and their projects

Among the prominent sponsors are well -known personalities who are passionate about different aid projects. For example, Alexander Zverev , who is a diabetic himself, fights for better care for children with diabetes (type 1). In addition, DJ Bobo brings its energy by wanting to promote a family house for children with cancer in the Europa-Park in Rust. Also Tom Beck and his wife Chryssanthi Kavazi , are passionate about fear -free studies on the Charité, while Esther Schweins wants to improve support for children with rare diseases.

But the support does not stop here. Dennis Schröder fights for the basketball sports project "Jump4future", which primary school children actively promotes in his home region of Braunschweig-Wolfsburg. At the same time, Wolfgang Bahro and the cast of "Uferpark - good times, wild times" are involved for the "Skaten instead of Ritalin" project, which supports children with ADHD or behavioral problems. The commitment of Kristina Vogel and the "Unter Uns" cast, who are committed to family frames for severely disabled children, is particularly noteworthy.

A look beyond the national borders

Significant projects are also supported internationally during the donation marathon. Dieter Nuhr , for example, is committed to better eye medical care for children in Zambia. In Brazil, Laura Wontorra endangered children with the construction of a sports and cultural center. And not to be forgotten is Motsi Mabuse , who promotes better educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in Johannesburg.

A special highlight of this year is the "24h Inclusion Challenge", under the patronage of Kristina Vogel, which is strong for the inclusion of children with disabilities. Here, 20 including company teams, consisting of wheelchair users and pedestrians, compete on a course with different obstacles. The aim is to set up a new world record for the "longest team distance at the wheelchair course (24 hours, season)" and at the same time collect donations for inclusion projects.

In addition, numerous well -known personalities such as Rea Garvey , Sarah Wiener and many others are active on the phone to accept calls for donors. NRW Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst will also be live to receive and motivate donations personally.

If you want, you can take part in this unique action until Friday evening at 6 p.m. and thus help children in need. Contents and further information are easy to find.
