Revolution in Burgenland: OGH judgment forces network operators for repayment!
An important judgment of the Supreme Court (OGH) is currently causing a lot of excitement among the owners of photovoltaic systems in Austria. According to , over 12,000 customers of the Burgenland network have already been informed that they are refunded for access to the power grid. This is done in the context of the decision that states that there is a double settlement for existing network connections during commissioning, which is the case in most newly installed PV systems.
Gerhard Altmann von Netz Burgenland said that the refund for the affected customers will be automatically. These do not have to worry about anything, since the network company takes all the necessary steps itself. The judgment, which emerged from a legal dispute between Vienna-Schwechat Airport and the Viennese networks, has extensive consequences and grants the operators of PV systems an important repayment option.
network access and feed -in
The availability of capacities can vary due to bottlenecks in other network levels. Especially for larger generation plants, as planned in certain regions, network access could only be possible after further network expansion work. The network company has therefore also announced steps to improve the feed options, which ensures the future of renewable energies in the region.
