Oberwart apprentice Seline Oprissnig shines in the #MyDreamJob Challenge!
Seline Oprissnig, a talented trainee from Oberwart, recently caused a stir at the national “Movie Challenge”. The P.R.T. apprentice KFZ Meisterstatt finished the competition in Vienna with an impressive third place. Her participation in this event follows an already successful performance in spring, when she achieved a top placing at the state apprentice hackathon.
Over 580 participants from all over Austria took part in the #MeinTraumJob Movie Challenge and developed innovative ideas for apps. This marks a record turnout, showing how many young people are interested in digital technologies and want to demonstrate their skills. Seline was part of this creative community and presented a short, impressive video that gave insights into her everyday life as an office clerk at P.R.T. gives what it can achieve.
The creativity of young people
The challenge of the #MeinTraumJob Movie Challenge 2024 was to present the apprenticeships through creative video formats. Seline Oprissnig stood out and showed her creative side in 56 contributions submitted by the participants. Her video generated interest and earned her a respectable third place.
She has been completing her training at P.R.T. since September 2023. This master workshop enables apprentices to gain practical experience and prepare for their professional future. “As an office clerk, you ensure that everyday office life runs smoothly, plan appointments, prepare documents and manage invoices,” explained Seline, emphasizing the importance of modern technology in her professional field.
In addition to honoring the best videos, the TalentsLounge platform, which is used for career guidance in middle schools, will present selected clips. “This not only shows the versatility of our young people, but also promotes the positive image of teaching,” said Andreas Wirth, President of the Chamber of Commerce.
First place went to Aledin, an audiologist from Vorarlberg, while second place went to Sophie, a media specialist apprentice from Vienna.
