Swinging closing ceremony: Pullenale 2024 inspires Oberpullendorf
A special highlight of the Oberpullendorfer Kulturtage, known as the "Pullenale 2024", found his crowning conclusion with a rousing concert by the Bigband Project Katzelsdorf in the local cinema. Vice Mayor Nikolaus Dominkovits took the time to thank the many helpers, in particular the driver, who provided their cinema for several events.
Cultural City Councilor Eva Maria Kneisz was responsible for the Pullenale this year and was able to set up a varied program again. A total of eight events required a lot of planning and commitment. The opening event included the exhibition "Krbsler and Plutzer", followed by cabaret with well -known artists such as Murg and Bernardin. Readings for young and old from popular authors such as Christoph Mauz and Joesi Prokopetz provided additional cultural enrichment.
The review of the cultural autumn
Another exciting part of the Pullenale was the film evening, which devoted himself to the drivers of historical short films. These events were complemented by concerts, including the participation of the Don Kosaken Chor and the Bigband Project Katzelsdorf, which completed the program with a brilliant swing concert. The various events took place in several locations - the cinema, the town hall hall, the parish church, the city library and the elementary school Oberpullendorf offered space for a number of cultural activities.
The last concert under the direction of Josef Vocitko and the charismatic singer Barbara Rust-Hackner was particularly celebrated. The performances of classics such as "Summertime" and "New York" in combination with machining of well-known Beatles songs captivated the audience and illustrated the high level of the musical talent in the region.
collaboration with jazz professor
The organization of this event was carried out in close cooperation with "Jazz Professor" Willi Frühwirth, who has known and appreciated band leader Josef Vocitko for many years. Numerous music lovers and loyal visitors to the Pullenale were found in the auditorium, including Mayor Hannes Heisz and Vice Mayor Nikolaus Dominkovits, who followed the concert with great interest.
The cultural activities in Oberpullendorf not only focus on the pelleal. Immediately after this special event, there are already other events, such as the fool's arms and the enthronement of the new couple of princes to Martini, organized by the Krebsler guild. This promises to be an exciting continuation of the cultural events in the region.
