An incident in the tranquil Kittsee caused excitement on Wednesday afternoon. A 35-year-old Slovak was arrested after being observed when stealing goods. The perpetrator had tried to stole various items from a sales stand in front of a shop. An attentive passer -by noticed the offense and immediately informed the police.
The escape of the shoplifter was initially successful. He sat in his car and tried to get out of the dust. But the police did not give up: a short time later she could stop him. When checking the vehicle, the officers found a considerable amount of stolen Christmas and electrical articles. It is assumed that the total damage is in the lower four -digit euro range.
