Disease wave in Burgenland: 7 190 people reported sick in KW 47

The cold season has reached Burgenland and the numbers speak for themselves. In calendar week 47, a total of 7,190 people reported sick in Burgenland. But the situation is not only limited to Burgenland. A total of 266,090 people were on sick leave all over Austria last week, of which a large part of flu infections, influenza diseases and also Covid-19 were eliminated.

A positive development is shown in Burgenland, where the number of corona infections has dropped significantly. Out of 997 cases in the previous year on 164 reports.
