Kölly returns: Political comeback as a hope for Burgenland!
Deutschkreutz, Österreich - A political comeback is bought in Burgenland: Manfred Kölly, former mayor of Deutschkreutz, joins the “List of Household” by Géza Molnár. Both ORF and Meinverkärt report this. Kölly had originally considered his own candidacy under the Burgenland List (LBL) alliance, but the two politicians agreed on a strategic partnership in order to act as an alternative to the established parties. Molnár, who is in first place on the state list, and Kölly in third place, strive to exceed the four percent hurdle and become attractive for the voters. If Kölly receives more preferential votes than Molnár, he would transfer his mandate to Kölly, which further strengthens the cooperation.
strategic cooperation and election campaign issues
Both gentlemen were once members of the FPÖ and were then excluded from the party before founding their own political lists. Kölly, who was convicted of abuse of office in 2020, sees his return to politics an opportunity to make up past mistakes. "I want to show that I take politics seriously and want to make a difference," said Kölly. The focus in the upcoming election campaign lies on topics such as municipal challenges and economic difficulties that currently affect many communities.
The goal of the "List of Household" is to offer the Burgenland a real alternative to "not sinking into party -political hack," said Molnár. The election campaign has already started, with Kölly being responsible for the important topics of communities and business. Kölly criticizes: "We have a governor who does what he wants, and parties that only act tactically instead of taking care of the concerns of the citizens." In the coming weeks, the "List Household" wants to present concrete suggestions and thus address the voters who want a positive change in Burgenland, as from the reports of and MeinDzirk .
