The political tensions in Burgenland are increasing while the Greens want to defend their influence in the state parliament. In the last legislative period, the Greens brought a total of 144 applications, with the focus on issues such as soil protection. According to MP Wolfgang Spitzmüller and Anja Haider-Wallner, it is crucial that your party is still represented in the state parliament to bring up essential issues such as soil sealing and animal welfare. "Without the Greens, nobody will have these urgently needed discussions," warned Haider-Wallner. Despite their efforts, for example the use of photovoltaic systems and space sealing projects, they did little with their demands to the SPÖ all-instillation, so that democratic culture in the state parliament has to improve significantly in the state parliament, especially in terms of transparency, as ORF reported.

When the election card has been delivered, voters must ensure that they fill out the ballot correctly and send back in time. "It is simple and uncomplicated, but the deadlines are crucial," said the recommendation of the Greens, who already indicate possible problems if the election card does not arrive in time.
