Tyrolean tourism relies on digital visibility: Revolution with online check AI!

The Tyrolean tourism landscape is in transition! The newly introduced “Online-Check KI” presents an innovative solution that uses artificial intelligence to support accommodation providers in the digital world. This highly developed tool was developed in cooperation with the company Mitterdorfer e.U. and the Association of Tyrolean Tourism Associations (VTT). It analyzes the online presence of businesses - from website performance to social media and guest reviews. In this way, restaurateurs can drastically improve their visibility online, as Markus Mitterdorfer, the developer of the tool, emphasizes: “The tool is a real game changer for accommodation providers.”

At a time when digital competitiveness is crucial, State Tourism Councilor Mario Gerber emphasizes the importance of this initiative as a “groundbreaking accent”. Over 500 companies have already used the tool, and the results speak volumes: more than three quarters of the participants were able to demonstrate recommendations that had already been implemented, which led to a significant improvement in website performance. “We are pleased that so many tourism businesses have already taken advantage of the opportunity and worked intensively on their own website together with the landlord coach on site,” says Gerhard Föger from the tourism department.

Comprehensive support for providers

The project is supported in Tyrol by tourism aid, which underlines the importance of digital transformation in tourism. The “Online Check” not only provides a comprehensive look at the strengths and weaknesses of the online presence, but also promotes exchange between companies and their landlord coaches, who play a central role in this process. “We thought about how we can strengthen companies in their activities, especially in the area of online presence, which is often neglected,” explains Mitterdorfer and aims to support landlords in their digital development in the long term. Supported by the state of Tyrol, a free webinar program will also start in March, offering further valuable insights into digital trends and marketing strategies to ensure the long-term success of businesses on the Internet. How newsroom.pr reports, this paves a future-proof path for the Tyrolean tourism industry.
