Ö3 Christmas miracle: Mikl-Leitner inspires with regional talent!

On December 20, 2024, the Ö3 Christmas Miracle took place in Wiener Neustadt, an important charity event attended by State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner. Together with an impressive musical ensemble of hundreds of singers, organized by Kultur.Region.Niederösterreich, she brought a festive atmosphere to the main square. In the “Ö3 Wunschhütte” Mikl-Leitner exchanged a donation for a wish for music and explained: “An incredibly beautiful campaign that warms the hearts of me and all of us.” This event promotes social cohesion and supports the “Light in the Dark” campaign.

The impressive performance, which also included musicians such as Luke Andrews and choir director Andrea Schneider, underlined the cultural diversity of the region. Over 150 young singers helped ensure that traditional Christmas carols and modern sounds could be heard in front of the Wish Hut from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. This not only demonstrated the regional culture, but also the participants' commitment to doing good NÖN.at reported. The event, which has been organized since 2014 and took place in St. Pölten in 2018, invites numerous donors and artists every year to help people in need.

The event will be accompanied by 120 hours of non-stop live broadcasts by a team of presenters from Ö3 from December 19th to 24th. This intensive press work supports the plans to continue the charity initiative and offers an excellent platform for raising awareness of the fate of those supported.
