The popular television program “On the Road in Thuringia” is celebrating its 30th anniversary and looks back on three exciting decades in which no corner of the state remained undiscovered. The reporters Steffi Peltzer-Büssow and Jonathan Doll climbed mountains, explored countless cycle paths and enjoyed regional delicacies such as chocolates and Thuringian dumplings. On their culinary journey they didn't even stop at exotic specialties such as gingko kernels and tobacco juice reported the MDR reporters.
