On Thursday, October 17, 2024, a serious traffic accident occurred on federal highway 3 near Hann at around 2:30 p.m. Münden. In the “Schedetal/Klusteich” area, a Skoda Octavia and a motorcyclist collided, which led to alarming consequences.

According to initial reports, the 51-year-old driver of the Skoda was driving on the B3 towards Hann. Münden. At the height of “Klusteich” he intended to turn onto a field path. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist, a 73-year-old man from the Göttingen district, did not notice the turn in time because he was about to overtake the Skoda.
