Alert on Tuesday! In the midst of an ongoing speed measurement on the B 25 near Harburg, a frightening reality became apparent. Between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., the Donauwörth traffic police inspection checked restless drivers who were completely ignoring the speed limit of 100 km/h at the Ebermergen exit. No joke: This crucial inspection followed two serious traffic accidents that took place there last week!
The shocking numbers
The police record is alarming! A total of 38 speed limit violations were recorded. Of these violations, 20 fell into the category of fines - a clear sign that many drivers are not afraid of the risk. One driver was particularly badly hit when he was speeding down the road at an incredible 156 km/h! There is no escape for him: a fine procedure has been opened and he faces severe consequences - a fine of 1000 euros, 2 points in the driving fitness register and a one-month driving ban.
The police warn urgently: Such speeding not only endangers your own safety, but also that of other road users. Safety precautions are now essential to prevent the worst and make the roads safer!
