The most common reasons for the police alarms were nothing unusual: rest disorders and property damage. But the actual drama began with the uncontrolled use of pyrotechnics, which caused more than half of the operations. Especially the illegal "Polenböller", who quickly brought the night's sleep to disappear with their deafening bang, attracted damage and unwanted attention from the lawns in Jülich.
