Around 7 p.m., police received alarming reports from concerned citizens about the confused man, who appeared to be in a state of complete daze and was carrying a weapon. The emergency services rushed to the scene immediately, and just one and a half hours later, around 8:40 p.m., the man was caught on the market square.
An alcohol test carried out revealed a shockingly high level of 1.68 per mille! This only made the situation even more explosive because the police also seized the dangerous ax. But that wasn't all: the man, who has no permanent residence in Germany, was wanted on an arrest warrant for violating the weapons law. He was also subject to an official ban on the possession of weapons and ammunition. The police immediately initiated an investigation against him and ultimately took him to the correctional facility.
