Udo's legacy: Unique auction of his greatest treasures in Cologne!

Next January, fans of the legendary hit singer Udo Jürgens can expect an emotional event: his valuable memorabilia will be auctioned off. This auction will take place online from January 23rd to 30th and is entitled “Udo – The personal collection of the late Udo Jürgens”. The approximately 100 carefully selected items come from the estate of the children John and Jenny Jürgens, who with a crying heart handed over the personal collection of their father, who died almost ten years ago on December 21, 2014, to the Sotheby's auction house in Cologne, reports Bild newspaper.

The highlights of the auction include Udo Jürgens' glass grand piano, whose estimated value is between 20,000 and 30,000 euros, and his Bentley convertible from 2007, which is estimated at 50,000 to 70,000 euros. The famous white terry cloth bathrobe, which was signed by German football stars and is worth 150 to 200 euros, will also be auctioned. Works of art, such as a watercolor by Gustav Klimt, will also be offered for sale, with the proceeds from the auction going to the Udo Jürgens Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting young musicians and supporting children in need.
