TIROL, Österreich - In Tyrol, two Austrian ski racers, Elisa Mörzinger and Chiara Mair, have announced the end of their sporting career. Chiara Mair, a 27-year-old slalom specialist, has overcome numerous challenges in her career, including several injuries such as cruciate ligament tears and head injuries. In total, she competed in 53 World Cup races and achieved her best place with an impressive 4th place in the slalom in Schladming in January 2022. While the skiing industry is saying goodbye to talented athletes, there is also positive news in Tyrol that celebrate the team spirit. Radio Tirol has started a new initiative to bring special teams into the spotlight. From Monday to Thursday, the “team of the day” is broadcast live every day and rewarded with an exclusive music package, the “team-three”. This campaign begins shortly after 1:00 p.m., and everyone can nominate their team- be it a sports, work or leisure team.
