SPÖ boss Hergovich: away from criticism, towards real service!

A new approach to social services is presented by the SPÖ in Lower Austria: On Tuesday morning, Sven Hergovich, the state party chairman of the SPÖ Lower Austria, presented a living advice hotline that should serve as a free offer for the citizens. Hergovich said that it was important to return from a “know-it-all” posture to a service-oriented policy. He emphasized: "The 's' in social democracy must also stand for service again." This new offer should not only contain criticism, but actively offer solutions and support, especially in the living area.

The initiative is no coincidence: Hergovich takes responsibility for the direction of the SPÖ in Lower Austria with its extensive political and economic experience as the state council for municipal administration and building law. Since taking office in the previous year, he has focused strongly on services and would like to demonstrate the social responsibility of the party through the hotline. In addition to his political career, Hergovich has also gained experience in the Chamber of Labor and several ministries, which supports him in his role as the state party chairman.
