SPAR is withdrawing veggie products: allergy warning for nut allergy sufferers!

The Spar retail chain has initiated a recall for one of its popular veggie products. During a regular quality control it was found that the “SPAR Veggie Girasoli Spinach-Cashew 250g” could possibly be contaminated with the allergenic substance peanut. This affects products with the best before dates (Best Before) February 17, 2025, February 27, 2025 and March 11, 2025, as well as both krone.at as well as ots.at report. Customers who have purchased these products in stores are requested not to consume them and to return them to the nearest branch.
