In a moving storytelling evening that took place at the Hotel zur Sonne in Schrems, Heini Staudinger thrilled numerous visitors with his exciting travel reports. Together with Nancy Lee Seymann he collected donations for the aid project “The Rain Workers”. Staudinger, who left high school in 1971, remembered his adventurous journey that he began with his friend Reinhold in 1972 on a red Puch moped to Africa. At the time, his mother had said worriedly when she said goodbye that she would die if he went on this journey.
