Dance happy: new disco fox courses in the Kulturhaus Althofen!

In the Kulturhaus Althofen, new dance courses will be on the program from April. Under the direction of Bettina Knafl-Jannah, dance enthusiasts in the historical basement of the house can learn to dance or improve their skills. Participation costs 15 euros per person and course, whereby the courses are carried out from a minimum number of five couples. Interested parties can register by phone at 0664/40 15 150 or by email to bettina.knafl@ktn.gde.at.

The courses are divided into different levels. For beginners, the "Discofox 1" and "Discofox 1a" are offered. These courses take place on the dates 04 and 11 April and June 13th and 13th, each from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The participants learn the basic step and simple figures. Advanced dancers are available to the courses "Discofox 2" and "Discofox 2a", which also take place on the same dates, but from 8:20 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. Wrapping figures, rotations and combinations are treated here.

The Kulturhaus Althofen offers all dance enthusiasts with this initiative to become active and meet in society. The combination of fun and exercise should not only dance, but also promote social contacts.

In addition to dance pedagogy, there is another exciting project in the performing center. The 20th anniversary of the youth musical project is celebrated there. Last year the Christmas musical "Xmas Generations" was performed in the Akzent Theater, in which 28 young actors were involved.

The action of the musical deals with a Christmas project that includes auditions, rehearsal times and interpersonal challenges. Mysterious night meetings in the park and secrets from a found time capsule form the thematic core of this staging.

Stephanie Schwartz and Alexander Tinodi were responsible for the direction of the final version, while the musical direction was taken over by Adele Thoma. Diego Federico provided choreography. The impressive photos of the event come from Bernhard Fritsch and Thomas Öhner, who recorded the emotions and the atmosphere of the musical.
