After-work market in Klagenfurt: Sixth season starts with live music!
The after-work market in Klagenfurt was officially opened on May 30, 2025. This came after a week-long postponement due to weather. The event location, the Benedictine Market, was transformed into a colorful meeting place for numerous visitors who wanted to enjoy regional specialties after work.
The opening put the city in festive mode, highlighted by live music from “Zurzeit zu Zwei” and DJs GIO and MCA. Mayor Christian Scheider was pleased with the continued popularity of the market, which is now considered an integral part of Klagenfurt's range of events. The organization is carried out in close cooperation between the Klagenfurt Market Office and Klagenfurt Marketing, with financing being secured through contributions from restaurateurs and sponsors.
Dates of the 2025 market season
A total of five dates are scheduled for the current season, offering visitors a mix of live music and culinary delicacies.
