Shock in Rutesheim:Unknown burglars fail in the fire station!

On the night of Saturday, November 9th, 2024, an extremely bold break-in attempt occurred in Rutesheim. Between 1:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m., previously unknown perpetrators broke into the fire station on Schillerstrasse. They deliberately tried to pry open a window - but breaking the double glazing was the only success. The main entrance door was also badly damaged as the criminals blindly attempted to pry it open.

Costs of over 1,500 euros!

Luckily, the crooks failed in their plan and didn't break into the interior of the tool shed. Nevertheless, they left behind considerable material damage, estimated at over 1,500 euros. The local authorities are alarmed and are asking the public for help. The Leonberg police station will receive information about the perpetrators on 07152/605-0 or by email at leonberg.prev@polizei.bwl.de.
