Terrible fall in the resin: man falls three meters into light shaft!

A dramatic incident shook the resin! A 35-year-old man from Braunlage fell into a light shaft at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening from a height of three meters. The moment of terror occurred in the Dr.-Kurt Schroeder promenade when the man unhappily stepped on the unsafe safety grille that was not properly installed. The police confirmed that it was not a self -inflicted fall.

The Braunlage fire brigade was quickly on hand to save the injured. But the rescue operation was anything but easy! The emergency services first had to gain access to the man, who was trapped in a predicament. After about half an hour, the firefighters managed to reach him safely and to gently transport it to the ambulance.

The man couldn't just go home. Instead, he was immediately taken to a hospital where his injuries are treated professionally. In order to prevent future accidents, the light shaft was secured with grid rusts after the incident. A clear indication that security has a top priority!
