Shocking collision in Wörgl: three injuries after car accident!
On February 10, 2025, Tyrol, Tyrol, occurred in a spectacular traffic accident that had dramatic consequences for everyone involved. Around 3:45 p.m., a 53-year-old car driver steered his car on Johann Seisl Straße towards the southeast. At the intersection to Sepp Gangl Straße, he apparently overlooked a "priority" sign and collided with the vehicle of a 73-year-old who was traveling with his 69-year-old wife in the passenger seat. The collision caused the 73-year-old vehicle to be pushed against a wall and thrown onto the bonnet of the other vehicle. The situation was so serious that the two drivers were caught in their cars and had to be freed from the trunk by the Wörgl fire brigade.
Fortunately, the 73-year-old driver and his wife were able to leave the vehicle unharmed. However, all three people involved in the accident were first cared for with injuries of indefinite degrees and brought to the district hospital in Kufstein. The property damage to the vehicles is considerable, which is not surprising in view of this dramatic incident and shows how quickly there can be dangerous situations in traffic. These processes are all the more alarming when you consider that a similar accident in the region recently took place. On October 18, 2024, a 26-year-old pedestrian was recorded by an 88-year-old driver on Innsbrucker Strasse (B171).
