On Monday morning, December 2nd, 2024, there were two serious incidents in the Telfs community that kept the police and rescue workers on their toes. At around 7:45 a.m., a 10-year-old boy was hit by a small black car on a protective path in front of the Weißenbach middle school. The child did not fall, but suffered bruises on his leg and elbow. The shocking incident was caused by the unknown driver of the car, who stopped briefly before continuing her journey towards Inntal Center. At the same time, another serious accident occurred on the A12, which kept the emergency services busy. A 21-year-old driver from the Netherlands collided with an illegally parked truck in a parking lot on the Inntal motorway early in the morning. The 51-year-old German driver had parked his truck outside the designated parking space, which caused the younger man to hit the trailer with full force and become trapped in the driver's cab. The Telfs volunteer fire department freed the injured man and immediately took him to the Innsbruck hospital. His transporter was completely destroyed, like that Allgäu newspaper reported.
