On February 10, 2025, a significant framework agreement was signed by Rosenbauer and the Hellenic Fire Brigade. This four-year contract will enable Greek fire departments to purchase up to 24,000 pairs of the state-of-the-art BOROS B1 firefighting boots up to and including 2028. The tender for this contract was published EU-wide and Rosenbauer was able to successfully meet the technical requirements, as shown by Fireworld.at is reported.
The BOROS B1 fire department boots are not only characterized by their low weight and high wearing comfort, but also offer an attractive combination of functionality and style thanks to their modern slip-on boot construction. The use of first-class materials, including Michelin soles, guarantees high durability and reliability. Additionally, 4,500 GLOROS F10 gloves were also sold to the Hellenic Fire Brigade as part of this tender. These gloves offer excellent protection against mechanical injuries and are suitable for both forest fires and technical operations, as stated in the statement from Rosenbauer mentioned.
