Gas attack in Neukalen: 13 injured in shocking disco evacuation!
On Sunday night, a disturbing incident occurred at a discotheque in Neukalen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which resulted in 13 partygoers being treated for sudden breathing difficulties. The cause was the suspicion of a gas attack, triggered by the spraying of an unknown substance. Immediately after the complaints, the discotheque was evacuated and guests received medical attention on site before being taken to nearby hospitals. The police have launched an investigation into the incident on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, while the fire brigade ensured that the premises were adequately ventilated before the event could finally resume after around an hour FOCUS online reported.
Investigations into anti-foreign agitation
A xenophobic action that took place at the beginning of February led to another incident in the same discotheque. Five suspects, including young men from Neukalen and Greifswald, are said to have chanted xenophobic slogans during a song by Gigi D'Agostino. Police launched an investigation after witnesses filmed this scandalous act. Various pieces of evidence were seized during searches of the suspects' apartments. The police have announced that they will evaluate the seized phones in order to identify further suspects. The suspects have not yet appeared for politically motivated crimes and must now answer for sedition, which can be punished with fines or up to five years in prison Northern Courier reported.
