Nicholas and Krampus: Schwaming celebrates an unforgettable Advent evening!

GARSTEN/SCHWAMING – On Saturday, December 7th, 2024, the Schwaming Volunteer Fire Department was transformed into a festive center with the traditional event “St. Nicholas and his Krampus”. Despite the initial rain, the mood was undimmed: frightening masks and powerful dances by the newly founded Kraberg Devils provided spectacular entertainment. The little visitors experienced the highlight of the evening when Santa Claus personally distributed gifts and made the children's eyes light up, while mulled cider and punch were available for the adults to get everyone in the mood for the contemplative time. The warming fire barrels on the forecourt added to the cozy atmosphere before the Krampus party became an unforgettable celebration in the early hours of the morning meinkreis.at reported.

Fire brigade anniversary celebration

Following the festive events in Schwaming, the volunteer fire brigade's celebration had another highlight: the 100th anniversary was celebrated with an impressive vehicle blessing and a delicious twilight drink. During the festive season, culinary delicacies such as Kistenbratl, schnitzel and bratwurst were offered, accompanied by musical performances by the Christkindl music association, which created the right atmosphere. An atmospheric campfire and an inviting wine tent invited the participating guests to enjoy the event until late in the evening ff-schwaming.at reported.
