End of the year punch from the Eichbüchl fire department: tradition and community!

The Eichbüchl Volunteer Fire Department's traditional end-of-year punch took place on December 28, 2024. The event was attended by Mayor Nistl as well as representatives of the community and delegations from neighboring fire departments. The comrades from the Eichbüchl fire department had prepared a varied offering that included homemade punch, mulled wine, meat loaf, langos and angel curls.

Excursions with fire engines were also organized for the children, which met with great interest among the youngest guests. The event not only offered culinary delights, but also the opportunity to strengthen the village community and exchange ideas about the past year. The fire department thanked the supporters, comrades, sponsors, helpers and visitors who contributed to the success of the event.

Wishes for the new year

A central element of the event was to wish the guests happiness, success, personal well-being and health for the New Year. The FF Eichbüchl looks back on a successful year and is looking forward to numerous future activities and events.

The importance of such events for the village community is also emphasized by other fire departments. The Langschwarza fire department reports on its own events that aim to bring people together and strengthen the community. These include, among other things, the Birkenberg Festival, the annual maypole raising and the Ö3 Disco, which has established itself as an integral part of the youth calendar for several years. Further events, such as Zankerlschnapsen and fire brigade fishing, round off the program, while additional event concepts are being planned to promote togetherness.

These community activities are essential parts of social life in the affected regions and underline the role of the fire department as an important player in the village community.
