Feuerinferno in Remscheid: Villa in flames - fire brigade in large -scale use!
in Remscheid, a dramatic fire caused a sensation in the early morning of March 14, 2025. Shortly before 6 a.m., the fire brigade was called to a roof truss fire in Lenneper Straße. The fire broke out in an older, vacant villa that was already in full flame when the emergency services arrived. To combat the fire, several extinguishing methods were used, including a turning tube over a turntable ladder and two jet pipes in the outdoor attack. Thanks to the fast and coordinated use of the fire brigade, the fire was brought under control after around 50 minutes and successfully deleted, as well as reported.
A total of nine fire engines as well as an emergency doctor vehicle and an ambulance were used on site. In addition to around 20 forces from the professional fire brigade, 16 emergency services from the North Volunteer Fire Brigade were also involved. In order to ensure security during use, Lenneper Straße also had to be blocked for the duration of the work.
