Fire -dramatic chaos: Fire in St. Pöltner Fortice!

On Thursday morning there was a dramatic fire in the St. Pölten judicial facility, where dense, black smoke swaths came out of the administrative wing. For reasons that have so far been unexplained, the fire broke out in an office, which put the emergency services of the fire brigade of the St. Pölten-Stadt and St. Pölten-Wagram on alert. Under heavy breathing protection, the Florianis were able to control and extinguish the fire within an hour. Fortunately, according to the initial information, there was no injuries, as both the krone as well as today reported.

The affected premises of the administrative tract were completely destroyed. Operations manager and state fire brigade chief Didi Fahrafellner announced that the cause of the fire must now be determined by the police. At the time of the fire there was great hustle and bustle in the city center of St. Pölten. The fire brigade was supported by the fire protection force of the judiciary and the entire area affected had to be evacuated. The rapid reaction of the emergency services may prevent worse damage while the police initiated the cause of the fire.
