Drama in Berlin: Fire brigade saves man from the Spree at the last second!
On Friday, January 10, 2025, the Berlin fire brigade was alerted at 1:20 p.m. for an assignment at the fishing island in Berlin-Mitte. A man drove in the Spree for reasons that have so far been unexplained when a passerby discovered him and immediately jumped into the water to help. Fortunately, the first aider was able to save himself on the shore.
The fire brigade used a turntable ladder to save the lifeless man out of the water. After his salvage, the man had to be resuscitated. He was then transported to a hospital.
